Issue:

Endpoint is unable to connect to the Hotspot Detection page.

The browser says "Internet Appears to be Down, Are you in a hotel" page.


Logs Required:

Endpoint Security V5.8.20.1011 and above


Please follow the instructions below in order to enable the hotspot logs on the machine:


1:Open Notepad as an administrator

2:Edit isf.local file(%CloudClient%)

3: edit the file with the following line:

     hotspot_log:1


4: Save the file and restart the service/reboot the machine.



The hotspot logs will be enabled for the machine, unless the switch is disabled.


Note: THe Hotspot logs can occupy large disk space if kept enabled, it s suggested to disable the same after the hotspot logs are captured.
