What is Administration Maintenance password and how can I reset it?

The Endpoint could use a Password Protection for uninstall. Also, to perform some administrative tasks on the client machine while endpoint is installed, the Maintenance Password will be required.

Follow the steps below to obtain or reset the Administration Maintenance password:

· Log-in to the Cloud Console

· Go to the Filter Management tab

· Click on Filter Management à Overview à Default Policy à edit

· Click on the Endpoint tab and then click on Download tab
· Go to Endpoint Download section and select or edit Maintenance Password 

· If you edit the password, ensure to click on Save button to make the changes permanent



It may take up to 15 minutes for the maintenance password to get updated on the client machine; unless the policy was reloaded manually.
